About event
"a young polish boys-band blending jazz, hip-hop, drum & bass - 1st Berlin Club Show"
Kosmonauci is an indie boy band with a jazz background that combines elements of hip-hop, drum and bass and improvisation in their musical language. The instrumentation, which includes saxophone, bass, vibraphone and drums, creates the group's unique style, balancing between emotional melodies and polyrhythmic structures.
Kosmonauci has already performed at renowned Polish jazz festivals such as the Jazz Jantar Festival, Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa, Młyn-Jazz Festival and in the National Philharmonic in Warsaw and was well received by both audiences and critics. This year was also rich in festivals such as the Open'er Festival, Męskie Granie, Next Fest Music Showcase & Conference and Czech Music Crossroads.
The debut album entitled “Sorry, nie tu” was released on March 21, 2024. It was released on “U Jazz Me”, a sub-label of U Know Me-Records. It is the sublabel's first album. It is worth mentioning that the entire run of the vinyl record was already sold out through pre-orders before its release.
In the summer of 2025, Kosmonauci won the Sanki Prize organized by Gazeta Wyborcza, which highlights the most interesting faces of the Polish music scene.
MIFE is a solo project by saxophonist Efim Braylovskiy.
When saxophone meets experimental beats and sound design hits.
