How to conduct an individual counseling interview with a pupil effectively and at the same time supportively, in the role of a guide? How to motivate, but not overdo it? How to create a sense of safety and at the same time activate?
These questions will be answered at a workshop for career counselors at schools who want to add coaching techniques to their toolbox and move the conversation from "giving advice" to supporting the student's own reflection and decision-making.
What awaits you:
Brief theoretical anchoring of the coaching approach in the context of career counseling.
Examples of specific of counseling interview passages
- beginning and creation of a sense of security
- competence mapping and career diagnostics
- work with outputs in counseling and final meeting
Training in triads (counselor – client – observer) with subsequent reflection
You leave with specific techniques that can be used immediately in the next interview with the student.
The workshop is led by Petra Drahonovská, career advisor, coach and lecturer with more than 20 years of experience and 2,200+ hours of coaching.
