How many times in life will you be able to see how someone creates the universe? When Tibetan monks spill sand mandala, that's exactly what is happening. They create the universe, build a dwelling to the central deity and accompany them, invite them in and let them radiate peace, peace, bliss and compassion for the whole world. When the deity of the mandala leaves, the monks disrupt her perfection, sweep it into the ritual vessel, take it to the river into which the colorful sand will spill it. Energy will enter the surrounding landscape and everything is like before. Just that not quite. Something has changed, although it may not be obvious at first glance.
