KovnaFest 2024

KovnaFest, or the festival of other music and its jubilee tenth year, will take place this year in two days in two places. On Friday, November 15 at the national cultural monument, the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Bubench and on Saturday, November 16 at the church of St. Šimon and Judy.

The festival is built on the ideal of community cultivation of culture and connecting seemingly disparate areas of the diverse music and art world. Within the framework of the festival, established artists, beginning female performers, sound experiments, folklore, contemporary classical music, noise, jazz meet and co-create an impressive mosaic, which gives not only visitors, but also musicians the opportunity to see completely different forms and approaches. The festival forms a base where listeners can meet artists whose work goes beyond the framework of "regular" genre festivals.
