🗣 April lecture on progressive landscape architecture entitled Selection as Catalyst for Creation from the Kra/Other II will present Kenny Windels, landscape architect and co -founder Bast. Atelier based in Kortrijk, founded by Kenny Windels and Bert Bussycheert in 2008. They perceive the landscape as a system where each place is of its importance. In their designs, they are based on the genius loci and the dynamics of space, so projects naturally integrate into a local environment. The Basta studio focuses on various types of projects, from living spaces to the formation of everyday life to leisure areas. The result of their work is spontaneous, live and green spaces with an casually arranged character. When designing, they pay attention to sustainability and efficiency and their implementation emphasize quality and openness to cooperate with local communities and other parties involved.
