Regionally, seasonally and fairly produced - that's what the Slow Flowers movement stands for. But what does that actually mean when it comes to flowers?

Together with Christina Moritz from Blumen vom Hühnersteig, the participants discover the world of slow flowers. The flowers grow outdoors in Seewinkel in Burgenland and in Vienna and are grown in-house with great care. From the seed to the blossom, Christina Moritz knows the path of each individual flower stem and shows how sustainable flower cultivation can work in harmony with the seasons.

After a short introduction to the philosophy of slow flowers and the special features of seasonal cut flowers, we work creatively together: Individual head wreaths are created from freshly harvested flowers and natural materials that not only look beautiful, but also provide long-lasting joy.
