About event
The foundations of the tailor's craft for beginners and slightly advanced under the guidance of costume designer Barbara Horáková Fehérová. Don't say that you never dropped this sentence out of your mouth and you didn't think about it: I want to learn to sew too! The tailor's workshop for beginners and slightly advanced will help you fulfill a dream full of beautiful substances, accurate stitches and especially self -sewn bags, skirts, dresses, trousers…
The content of the workshop: Barbara lecturer approaches all participants individually to learn as much as possible. According to your advancement, we will agree with you before the workshop starts what tailoring project you will eventually start and what material will be best for it. This will not waste your time and can learn to sew on the model according to your wishes and abilities.
As part of the workshop you will learn the basic materials and especially the sewing machine. You will learn how to prepare the machine, put the needle or wind the coil. Then you practice straight sewing and practically get to know other types of stitches and seams. You will be able to acquire sewing pockets and sewing zippers. You get the basics of sewing according to the cut. And much more you need to make bags, skirts, trousers, t -shirts, dresses - just anything you will work on during the workshop and what you will eventually cut into the Smíchov streets.
Where and when:
The workshop will take place in 3 lessons always on Monday 17, 24 and 31. Outside the fabric on your final product, but we will help you get.
