About event
We cordially invite you to the launch of Zuzana Jírová's book Na AVU.
Wednesday 22 January 2025 at 19:00
ArtMap bookstore in Prague
Comics Na AVU are the author's work reflecting on seven years of study at AVU – situations from the studio, openings, work or perhaps the home of a strange collector, interviews with relatives and people outside the academic and artistic the world. Through her self-portrait, the author deals with sensitive themes of power, hierarchy and victimization, which are permeated by humor as well as ubiquitous difficulty and existentiality.
The ArtMap activity is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, the State Fund for Culture, hl. m. Prague and the City of Prague 1.
