About event
The baptism of this book will be a little different. In the cozy and beautiful space of Yoga Letná, we will stop together in a pleasant atmosphere, stretch a little and calm down. After a short meditation, we will read an excerpt from the new book Lao Tzu and the Way of the Dragon. Subsequently, there will be space for reflection and discussion on the text. We will then symbolically christen the book, have a good tea, something to eat and let the evening continue freely. We recommend comfortable clothing for stretching and meditation.
ABOUT THE BOOK
The book Lao Tzu and the Way of the Dragon is the 11th title in the Monad edition, which presents the thinking of important figures in philosophy. The birth of Lao Tzu, the legendary founder of Taoism, was heralded by the arrival of a comet. This man with aged features, an archivist at the imperial court, revealed the transience of science. When he became convinced of the moral corruption of power, he turned away from it and began to search for the true path to wisdom.
