We invite you to the baptism of Nikola Ivanova: blinded by brightness 12. 6. At 18:00 to the Prague bookstore ArtMap. The differences between the day and the night of the dream of modernity, or its nightmare? When we shine into the darkest corners, does it really mean that we can see and understand everything? Or can omnipresent brightness blind us? The first part of the book defines and summarizes the current research of the topic of the colonization of the night and monitors its important speeches from antiquity to the present. The second part is already more specific oriented to the lighting of night areas with space mirrors. For the first time ever, it has comprehensively maps the history of these plans since their early 1920s until the present and sets them in social, political, cultural and environmental context. It is published by Czech-anglicky. He is an editor of the proceedings rest in restlessness, which is devoted to the issue of biopolitics of sleep. He is currently co -sharing a studio applied to FUD UJEP in Ústí nad Labem and acts as a methodologist of the Department of Graphics UMPRUM.

The Book Focuses on the Colonization of the Night From and Historical Perspective. IT Focuses on One of the Manifestations of the Colonization of the Night, Namely The Still-Unalized Plans to Illuminate Night Areas with Space Mirrors. The First Part Outlines and Summarizes existing research on the topic of the Colonization of the Night and Traces Important Manifestations from Antiquity to the Predent Day, With and Special Emphasis on the isue of Artificial Illumination, Which is Conceived Litelly and Metaphorically. The Second Part Is More Specifically Oriented Towards The Issue of Illumination by Space Mirrors. For the first time ever, it compicensively traces of the History of These Plans from the Beginnings in the 1920s to the present day, Placing Them in a Social, Political, Cultural and Environmental Context.
