At a time when the media and social networks are full of false messages, critical thinking is a key skill for both children and adults. 🔝 The ability to distinguish facts from opinions and recognize false information is important for today's time and must be continued to improve. However, the development of critical thinking in children also brings other benefits - it teaches to argue children, seek true resources, respect other opinions, and create their own on the basis of evidence and facts. 👀
We bring you a workshop where you will learn:
👉 How to show pupils the difference between fact and opinion,
👉 Practical techniques for verifying information from the media,
👉 How to detect manipulation, propaganda and false messages,
👉 specific exercises and examples from practice. Critical thinking. She studied photography at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica and the director of the documentary film at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She worked for seven years at the School of Design in Bratislava. He has had a 15-year journalistic practice, during which she was actively involved in political, cultural and social and minority topics. In her work, she has long been involved in Roma issues, and has been a member of the Commission for National and Ethnic Minorities. However, there are also other candidates who are interested in the topic.
