About event
We invite you to an exceptional evening of contemporary Czech poetry 🇨🇿📚
Contemporary Czech poets Petr Hruška and Ivan Petlan will present their work to Slovak readers as part of cross-border cooperation. Music and singing performed by Yvetta Ellerová will also make the evening pleasant 🎶
👉 Petr Hruška has been one of the most prominent figures of contemporary Czech poetry for years. Prominent to the point that the influence of Petr Hruška is usually sought among younger poets. In the Ružinov Library, the author will read excerpts from his last two books - I saw my face and I miss you exactly.
👉 Ivan Petlan is an original writer from Brno, but also a tireless organizer of cultural life. His collections are thin, but they can shine with an unexpected intensity of appearance - the reader of those economical poems can barely breathe. The name of the collection from which Ivan Petlan will read in our library is barely even.
🎶 Yvetta Ellerová writes poems, but most often she sings them. He also sets other authors' texts to music. He is the main character of the changing musical group Norwegian Three, but he also performs solo. She plays the metallophone and one of her new songs gave the title to the entire Bratislava performance.
We will organize the event in cooperation with the Jiří Mahen Library in Brno.
*Video and audio recordings of the event will be made in accordance with El. 6 paragraph 1 letter f) EU regulations on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data. By participating in the event, you agree to their creation and use for marketing purposes KNIŽNICE RUŽINOV, p. o.
