About event
On Wednesday, December 11, we invite you to the launch of a new release published by the BRAK publishing house - the collection Hypomnemata by Zuzana Husárová. , when the world and the author herself were changing. The poetry is composed as a montage of experienced individual and collective events, resonant conversations, overheard sentences, read inscriptions and texts that draw from philosophies, feminist and media discourse, as well as related authorships. The collection is permeated with echoes of sound poetry, performativity and multilingualism. The texts carry significant socio-critical and feminist overlaps, while at the same time reflecting an intimate insight into the world, where everything is connected, intertwined, influences, inspires and resonates.
💜
The text component is correspondingly connected with the three-dimensional visuality of the recognized artist Lucie Tallová. Her works are not just a supplement, but a living part of the book - they illustrate, comment and develop the poetic layers.
🟣
The graphic form was created in close cooperation with the award-winning designers Aurélia Garová and Terezá Maco and is carefully constructed based on the principle of (de)gradation of the purple color. The result is more than just a book – it is an object of poetic interest.
