About event
Bratislava is a city of exciting stories, surprising curiosities and many significant firsts.
After previous successful projects, Pozsonyi Kifli is presenting its tenth exhibition that lifts the veil of time.
After the many historical topics, this time we have selected from the specialties of Bratislava that most impressed the authors themselves. In other words, the exhibition is not strictly based on one theme, but rather provides a colorful mosaic of the best that our city's history has to offer. We invite you to take a walk in the footsteps of Bratislava's well-known and lesser-known phenomena and personalities, who shaped the city's unique image.
The Bratislava Firsts exhibition presents the city not only as a dynamic meeting point of cultures, but above all as an integral part of the Central European heritage. It reveals stories that directly connect the past with today's bustling metropolis.
In order to address the widest possible audience - from locals to tourists to visitors to the Hungarian Cultural Week - the exhibition is traditionally trilingual.
We would like to invite you to the ceremonial opening of the outdoor exhibition of the Bratislava Kifli Civic Association, which will take place on June 11, 2026 (Thursday) at 5:30 p.m. on the Small Promenade (Námestie Eugena Suchoňa).
The exhibition was realized with the support of the Slovak Minority Cultural Fund 2025.
Sponsors: Visiting teachers for Hungarian Culture (VMK)
Partners: Friends of Urban Public Transport and Regional Transport
Exhibition duration: June 11, 2026 - June 2026. 25
