Do you know how to get to know the real history of a building and distinguish original building elements from later interventions and modifications?
Come and listen to a lecture by Ing. arch. Jana Pešty (NPÚ, CTU),
who will guide you through the world of building-historical surveys (SHP) and their importance for the care of architectural heritage.
You will learn how SHP reveal the original construction of buildings, historical building modifications and the hidden values of monuments
which are not visible at first glance. It is this knowledge that is key to sensitive planning of repairs, reconstructions and long-term protection of historical buildings.
