Kumbia Boruka - Melkweg Amsterdam

Kumbia Boruka is a multicultural band from France with his roots in Monterrey in Northern Mexico, where Cumbia is the music of the street and cumbial legend Celso Piña was born. Kumbia Boruka's frontman Hernán Cortés learned to play Accordion from this great master and played on his international tours. In their music you hear the sound of the streets of Mexico: classic cumbia, mixed with influences from reggae, dub and tropical music - psychedelic guitars, an extensive rhythm section with guacharaca and congas, thick blazers' parties and of course the brilliant sound of the Accordion. That's Kumbia Boruka!
