Kunst statt Konsum - Die erste Kerze
Art instead of consumption - The first candle
Event by: TiK - Theater im Kino e.V., Tik Nord - Theater im Kino
Location: Theater im Kino (tik), Rigaer Straße 77, Berlin - Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
About event
When the calendar is supposed to be contemplative and we're still rushing to get presents, organize families, write questionable cards to loved ones far away, quickly knit something and find ecologically responsible tinsel, it's time to stop for an hour and spend time with children, friends and art. Time to get into the tik. For a glass of punch, mulled wine or beer and a portion of togetherness.
We invite you.
Candle number 1: SeiGone sings
The first candle - still in November - is lit in the tik SeiGone. Melanie is behind this homophone of Saigon (for those who don't like geography: Vietnam's capital), which is also a play on words from the German "sei" and the English "gone". Not only her project name, but also her poetic songs give cause for a little thought. Not the worst thing when the earth has almost completed its orbit around the sun!
Melanie's lyrics and melodies are inspired by walks, journeys, paths... They arise from restlessness and the desire to give new form to experiences, thoughts and feelings in sounds and words. You may know Melanie from our last Intermezzo or from our Open Stage. If you actually don't know them yet, then it's high time.
November 30th in the bar at tik, Rigaer 77
Admission: 5 p.m., start: 5:30 p.m., end: 6 p.m.
Free entry No reservations When full, then full
