Iconic works often become part of our visual memory without knowing exactly where we know them from. However, some of them have gained our awareness precisely because of their almost daily presence in our environment. The work of Mičurínka painter Mária Medvecká is one of them - as an ideological and formal starting point for the depiction of two Orava girls on the legendary ten-koruna banknote from 1960.
With a new reinstallation of the non-permanent part of the exhibition See, see and see! dedicated to this work, but also through the entire exhibition, its curator Eva S. Kotláriková will guide you.
