Improvisation duo Jiří Pazour (Czech Republic) and Ann Park Rose (USA), which after a number of concerts in the US with the project Most over the ocean returns to the Czech Republic for the second time, you will have a unique opportunity to participate in their joint classical musical improvisation course for the public. Ann Park Rose accepted the invitation and that this course was organized.

The event takes place in cooperation with the company for improvisation in classical music. Music educators, students, professional and amateur musicians (pianists, composers, as well as other instrumentalists), music therapists or even musical non -professionals interested in this musical field. They will learn a number of attractions about improvisation in the duo. Examples of improvisation techniques with the possibility of active involvement of participants

Who is Jiří Pazour:

Czech composer, pianist, improviser, teacher of the Prague Conservatory. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory, the fields of composition (Vadim Petrov) and Piano (Vladimír Topinka). He then continued his studies at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Prof.Václav Riedlbaucha. The activity can be summarized in three areas - compositional, concert and pedagogical. As a composer from the creation of orchestral, chamber and solo compositions. Its compositions are regularly broadcast by Czech Radio, released on sound media and are on a regular repertoire of top Czech and foreign soloists and ensembles. A number of chamber compositions were created to order soloists such as Petr Bernášek, Jana Boušková, Jaroslav Svěcený, Ladislav Horák, in Modo Camerale, Ensemble Martinů, Brahms Trio Prague etc. Piano on the lyrics of folk poetry "The sun was darkened". He also focuses on the work for children. A number of children's songs were created, for example, for the texts of Jiří Žáček, Josef Kainar, Jiří Suchý, Robin King. His songs for children are regularly broadcast on Czech Television on Magic Nursery and Musicing. They have them on their repertoire, for example, Jitka Molavcová, Magdalena Reifová, Petr Vacek, etc. In addition, Jiří Pazour also devotes himself to the creation of scenic music and utility interference with various genres. He cooperates with important theater and radio directors such as Tomáš Vondrovic, Lída Engelová, Karel Weinlich, with Supraphon Music a.s., Portal, Tympanum, Arsci, etc. Jiří Pazour "gains great popularity with their dynamics, spontaneity and diversity of both at home and abroad. He often also connects musical improvisation with his public appearances with fine arts (in the project Concert of Tones and Colors with painter Olga Volfová). In addition to the Czech Republic, he performed in Germany, Poland, Slovakia, France, England, Holland, Malta and Western Australia. At this school, the course is currently taught by the game from the list and piano improvisation at the piano department. He also focuses on composing scenic and utility music. His work in the artificial area is largely represented by program compositions, but they usually do not have a specific extra -musical program, often based on personal experiences and the author's view of the world. These are mostly lyrical paintings - poems having their own listeners often hidden. In the composition style of Jiří Pazoura we can observe the connection to the more traditional music directions XX. century. The tendency to widespread tonality, theme thinking, counterpoint in the sense of musical areas prevails; It often uses layering of musical areas above each other. The author always tries to enrich these music means with new ones; In its melody prefers certain interval procedures, it also has its favorite harmonious combinations, etc. The above -mentioned components always try to put in the service of the musical and thought of its songs. Jiří Pazour is the only Czech representative in the International Society for Improvised Music - ISIM. As a composer, he also achieved significant success at international level in the US, when on 4 January 2015 he said at a concert organized by Chamber Soloist of Detroit in First Presbyterian Church of Farmington at the American premiere of his "Awakening pearl" composed for violin, forest horn and piano Forne Rachel Childers, which operates in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, violinist Adrienne Rönmark - Soloist from Detroit Symphs Orchestra and exceptional pianists Pauline Martin of Detroit.

Piano improviser. Improvisation has been accompanied by Ann Park-Rose all his life. He is intensively involved in the Western New York improvisation scene, lecturing at Fredonia State University, regularly improvising with dance groups, improving Collective, Fredonia, and also performs as a soloist. She is the winner of many competitions and a holder of a large number of awards, including the latest - complete scholarship by the Golandks Summer Institute at Princeton University. Her music was played and recorded by artists in Canada, the US and Europe. Prof. Ann Park Rose is also a teacher and choirmaster on Sinclairville Elementary School in Western New York. Published by M.J. In 2017, the composition for solo viola through the American Viola Society filmed an improvisation for two pianos with Jiří Pazour, a teacher of the Prague Conservatory. As part of the Most project over the ocean, he regularly performs in the Czech Republic and the USA.
