About event
From March 25, 2026, the Považ Art Gallery in Žilina will host a Still Life Drawing Course with artist Peter Repko, who will guide you through 10 lessons focused on still life creation.
Who is the course intended for?
For applicants to study at art schools who want to systematically prepare for talent exams. At the same time, for non-professionals, students and all those interested in classical drawing with contemporary overlap who want to deepen their technical skills and develop their own artistic expression.
What will the course be about?
You will focus on perspective and composition, drawing material and different shading methods. You will develop the ability to observe, work with proportions and build light and shadow. The focus of the course will be still life - its classic form, meaning and its contemporary transformations.
