The topic of mental well-being and appropriate conditions for the psychosocial development of trans and non-binary children and adolescents is coming to the attention of professionals working with adolescents. courage, to avoid contact with the world or with others and complicate integration into society.

YOU WILL LEARN:
Know and consider in consulting work specific needs of the target group, offering a sensitive and respectful approach, systematically building a relationship and room for acceptance. Understand the possible effects of trans* and non-binary identity on the set of beliefs about oneself and the world.
Create a safe framework of cooperation and offer goals appropriate to the age and developmental possibilities of the child/adolescent, address appropriate topics and gain the interest of the child or student with with regard to age and developmental needs.
Establish dialogue very sensitively, proceed sensitively and carefully, accept, do not evaluate and work with the communicated content in such a way as to help awareness and at the same time did not bring in their own material.
Get the cooperation of the family, be able to support members of the family system, support relationships, work with a positive future.
Work with the school, create a safe environment, respond to the most common challenges.
According to age, use the safe space created between therapist and client to support and correct blocking beliefs, support self-knowledge and exploration of one's own identity, expression of needs and emotions.
Identify resources, give courage, build positive beliefs about yourself and the world and support development towards achieving belonging and identifying your own place in society.
