As early as October 23, 2025, we are starting a popular and proven format of marriage evenings in our church.
It is 8 meetings on 8 topics and 8 weeks spent together building a mutual relationship.
What is important to know is the fact that this is a date, intended for the ears and heart of your significant other. There is no interaction between couples.
What will we discuss at individual meetings?
How to build solid foundations for our relationship. Together we will look at the art of communication and conflict resolution. There will also be the power of forgiveness, mutual relations with family and in-laws, healthy and good sex, or love in practice.
Each evening consists
- of a delicious romantic dinner by candles, where each couple
is separately at their own table,
- of a speech on the given topic,
- of coffee and dessert,
- of exercises that each couple does individually, the environment is
prepared so that each couple is sure that the other one cannot hear them,
as there is music in the background and the tables are sufficiently
apart,
- at the end of the meeting there is a great opportunity for the couple to continue the
topic at home in the form of a home exercise, which no one evaluates
but it can further deepen the conversation for the benefit of a couple.
The course is designed for all married couples who want to work on each other and jointly invest in their relationship.
It doesn't matter if they have been married for less or more years. This course helps to reinforce good habits and provides practical skills to help overcome marital difficulties.
Where did it start?
These courses are proven over the years by founders Nicky and Sila Lee, who are based at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. They are a married couple who have been working together for more than 30 years with four children. They give lectures on the topic of marriage three times a year with an average of 100 couples participating in each cycle.
At each marriage evening, there will be an opportunity to hear their personal testimony on the topic.
The value of the course is indescribable for the given couple and the investment will be returned many times over. So don't worry about the amount for the given evening!
The course price only includes the cost of dinner and materials for the participants - €30/1 evening/couple
Each evening will be accompanied by the Čerensky couple.
