Join our online permaculture course, which is held in Slovak and Hungarian.
During six Wednesday evenings (from November 5 to December 10, 2025, always from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) you will learn how to create a sustainable garden, use natural resources efficiently, and learn about the principles of ecological living that you can apply in city.🌱

Course program
1. lesson - Basics of permaculture (November 5)
➡️ Introduction, goals, history of permaculture, ethical principles, relationships in nature
2. lesson – Design methods and patterns in nature (11/12)
➡️ Mapping the environment, zones and sectors, use of natural patterns
3. lesson - Water safety (11/19)
➡️ Water cycle, water retention techniques, storage and ponds
4. lesson - Soil (November 26)
➡️ Life in the soil, composting, types of beds, biological protection of plants
5. lesson - Plant systems and useful animals (3. 12.)
➡️ Selection and combinations of plants, the role of pollinators and trees in the city
6. lesson - Energy and community permaculture (December 10)
➡️ Renewable energy sources, community projects, final evaluation
In cooperation with the municipality of Terezvárosa - Budapest district
The event is organized as part of the UPSCALE project (Urban Permaculture Solutions for Cooperation Across Lands and Entities), which is co-financed by the Interreg VI-A Hungary-Slovakia Program 2021 - 2027.
