It is known that handicrafts help relieve the mind, and the joy of one's own creation fills us with positive energy. Among the various art techniques, working with wool as a natural material is also extremely pleasant. Come relax and learn something new.
Did you know that Pythagoras already described the mandrake as anthropomorphic - that is, human-like? This is due to its tuberous root, which reminded people of various men and hags. She lives to be 50 years old and has been attributed miraculous powers.
In this course we will learn to create a mandrake plant - with a root and six leaves. The detailed design of the legs and handles is up to you. We will learn how to work on a wire support, but also tips and tricks for creating flat shapes - leaves. The result will be a nice or scary mandrake, depending on your preference.
This course is in the form of a double course. See you on 10.3. in the first lesson and then in a week 17.3. in the second hour.
Previous felting experience is not necessary. Just bring a good mood, you will find everything else on the spot. This course is also suitable for beginners.
Material and equipment rental is included in the price. You take the finished product with you.
The course is mainly intended for adults, or children from 10 years old (working with a felting needle is difficult).
The height of the mandrake even with the roots is approx. 23 cm.
