About event
Come and plant trees with us!
We will plant 12 fruit trees in the orchard behind the municipal office in Podhorodi. We'll talk about how to do it right. If you can, bring your own shovel or hoe, dress up and wear work shoes! We plant in all weathers.
This event complements our activity of determining fruit varieties for our catchment area. We will mainly plant the varieties that we mapped this fall!
If you have time, we will be digging holes and hauling manure on Friday afternoon, any help is useful! We have refreshments ready, both liquid and solid :)
For the next few years after planting, the trees will serve as extras in courses on growing and caring for them. You will also be able to adopt each of the planted trees. In this way, you will not only support our activities, but you will also receive a wonderful benefit - participation in other fruit tree care courses for free during the adoption period 🙂
This planting is realized thanks to the financial support of the Ekopolis Foundation and Kaufland Slovenská republika v.o.s. as part of the Planting the Future program.
This activity is also implemented thanks to the grant program We like the East from the Carpathian Foundation.
