Kus proroka – Jan Slovák, Ondřej Smeykal

Almost the whole world knows Jibran Khalil's book The Prophet. In his work, the Lebanese writer left us a mirror with which we can look at ourselves. The metaphorical text floats gracefully through the ears and fulfills its meaning for many decades. It speaks to the depth of humanity and at the same time remains transparent poetry.

Jan Slovák, whom you probably know well from his acting journey in Czech film and the Sklep theater, was very fond of the Prophet. In his presentation, you have the opportunity to let this work speak to you, enjoy Jan's presentation of selected chapters and let yourself be washed by the currents of didgeridoo and gong vibrations with which I will accompany Jan during the reading. But for the first time, we choose a space option that offers a very delicious listening experience. In the Vnímej svo telo club, you can lie down, sit in a meditation position, or sit quietly in a chair, it's up to you...
We cordially invite you, Ondra Smeykal and Jan Slovák
