About event
🌐 What will the internet of the future look like?
Maybe safer, faster... but mainly quantum
And this future is no longer just a vision - this week in eastern Slovakia between Prešov and Košice, the first line of the quantum internet is launched.
Come and listen to the fascinating lecture "Quantum Internet", in which we will show you why scientists all over the world are working on a completely new generation of internet - one that can transmit information using quantum states, resist hacker attacks and connect quantum computers across continents.
The lecture will be led by Mário Ziman, director of the SAS Institute of Physics and one of the most prominent figures in Slovak quantum science, who will guide you through what we can already do today, what is still waiting for us and what role Slovakia can play in building quantum networks.
🔹 Are you interested in the future? technologies?
🔹 Do you want to finally understand what is hidden behind the term "quantum internet"?
🔹 Or do you just love good popularizing lectures?
Then see you on 11/12/2025 in Prešov! 🚀
Entrance is free, all you need is curiosity.
The lecture is part of the Expedition Quantum Slovakia series and is supported by the skQCI project, which is financed by the European Union from the Digital Europe Program and the NextGenerationEU Program from the Slovak Republic's Recovery and Resilience Plan.
