Bratislava has a new home for natural wine. The Nahé vína project, known for its successful festivals, joins forces with Rómerová dom and brings a series of regular guided tastings with international participation under the name Kvapka - evenings with natural wine.

🍇The eighth evening will belong to one of the most prominent names in Slovak natural winemaking - Slobodné vínárstva from Majer Zemianske Sady near Hlohovec.

The family farm has roots dating back to 1912, and today's winemaking continues a tradition that was interrupted by history, but which has been successfully restored.

🌱 The independent winery is one of the pioneers of natural wine in Slovakia.

On 17 hectares of vineyards, they farm ecologically and biodynamically, with an emphasis on living soil, historic hawthorn terroir and loess soils rich in calcium.

They grow varieties that naturally belong to this area - Frankovka blue, Grüner Veltliner, Rhenish Riesling, Tramin red, Devín, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon or Alibernet.

🍷 Their wines ferment spontaneously, without manipulation and without unnecessary additives. They give them time and space in the cellar to develop at their own pace. For maturation, they use oak barrels made of local wood, clay amphorae, Georgian qvevri and other containers that give the wines different forms, but always preserve their natural character. tickets.
