🌼 The flower festival is a community event near Lumó on Štúrovo námestie, which connects flowers, art, sustainability, public space and interpersonal relationships.
💐 Flowers will not be just a decoration here. We will look at them as a part of everyday life - as an aesthetic element, a fashion accessory, a part of refreshments, but also as a natural support for biodiversity and life in the city.
🌿 The event will also present the local sustainable flower farm Černuška and open the topic of growing flowers not only on the farm, but also in the urban environment and communities. We want to show that sustainability doesn't have to be a difficult topic - it can be beautiful, pleasant and fragrant.
🖼️ The program will also include a presentation of the street gallery near Lumó with photos by Marianna Makišová, photographer and author of the v.okamihu brand. The gallery also includes a flower bed created by Černuška. The gallery will work with the theme of caring for public greenery, front gardens and housing estates, which are often long-term and selflessly cared for by city residents.
✨ The program awaits you:
👗 a fashion performance with floral decoration accompanied by guitar music,
🖼️ the opening of a photo exhibition by Marianna Makišová, author of the v.okamihu brand, with the theme of community care for public space,
🌱 a lecture on growing flowers at the sustainable flower farm Černuška,
🌸 a creative workshop for small and large fairies - making flower wreaths and working with flowers as a natural material,
🌺 refreshments with edible flowers and flower lemonades,
🎶 a concert by Michal Berec as the end of the celebration.
💚 The goal of the event is to create a pleasant community space that connects art, nature and people, and at the same time support a more sensitive perception of public space and our relationship with flowers.
