🎶 Step by step to the championship: Pictures from the East 🎶
We invite you to a unique musical-dramatic evening "Pictures from the East," which will take place on November 15, 2024 from 19:00 at Villa Löw-Beer in Brno. Come and enjoy the premiere of a musical farce about Robert Schumann, inspired by the Arabic poetry of al-Hariri of Basra.
In December 1848, Schumann composed his cycle "Images from the East" for piano four hands, inspired by the poet al-Hariri. But what happens when the Schumanns travel through time to the 12th century? Will there be a meeting with al-Hariri? And what if Johannes Brahms, in love with Clara Schumann, unexpectedly complicates the situation? You will learn about all this in an exciting and entertaining performance!
The play written for the 175th anniversary of the publication of Schumann's work "Pictures from the East, Op. 66" and on the 970th anniversary of the birth of al-Harírí promises an unforgettable experience performed by the students of the Brno Conservatory.
Please purchase them in advance due to limited capacity. ❗️
