La Cellule d'invention Metamkine is an open group of musicians and filmmakers who examine the relationship between image and sound. Through the magic of mirrors, projectors and a very sophisticated living cut on the stage, accompanied by a live soundtrack from the snippets of tape and ancient sounds of synthesizers, it creates an improvised multimedia performance.
Metamkine has been implementing various concepts since 1987 and performs at festivals, galleries, cinemas and premises of contemporary art in France, Europe, Canada, USA, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Since 1995 they have been developing cooperation with other groups or artists such as Nachtluft (Switzerland), Kinobits (France), Loophole Cinema (England), Tom Cora (USA), Le Cube (France), La Flibus (France), Voice crack . 60 min. Since 1987 Different Concepts Have Been Carried Out and Performed in Festivals, Gallery, Cinemas and Contemporary Art Spaces, in France, Europe, Canada, USA, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Since 1995 they Develop Collaborarations with Other Groups or Artists Like Nachtluft (Switzerland), Kinobits (France), Loophole Cinema (England), Tom Cora (USA), Le Cube (France), La Flibsu (France), Voice Crack (Switzerland). The Magic of Mirrors, Multiple Projectors and Highhly Ingenious Live on Stage Editing, Metamkine Producees and Directs and New Film with Each of Their Performances. Working Around and Core Narrative, They Spill Eddies of Impromptes Vignettes, Accompanied by and Live Soundtrack of Tape Fragments and Ancient Synthesiser Sounds. These, Three Collaborators, WHO HAVE WORKED TOGETHER FOR MORE THAN 10 Years, Have Succeded in Pushing the Boundaries of Film and Soundtrack Into of Live Performance.
