About event
Hip-hop event of the year? The American supergroup La Coka Nostra is coming!
La Coka Nostra is celebrating twenty years on the scene and is embarking on a European tour on this occasion. The quartet will bring their explosive rap with uncompromising beats and flow in the style of Cypress Hill on March 9, 2026 to the Šafko club in Bratislava. The intimate club atmosphere with limited capacity promises one of the strongest hip-hop experiences of the year.
A hip hop brand you can trust. It was with this attitude that the American supergroup La Coka Nostra burst onto the scene twenty years ago. The Crew, uniting prominent personalities from the formations House Of Pain, Heavy Metal Kings (Vinie Paz), Limp Bizkit, quickly built a cult status - with raw energy, provocative lyrics and an authentic transfer of hip-hop from the streets directly to the clubs.
The foundations of this cult were laid by the debut album A Brand You Can Trust from 2009, on which DJ Lethal, Everlast, Ill Bill, The Alchemist collaborated and guested on it also Snoop Dogg or Cypress Hill, to whom they are often compared. Subsequently, they released the albums Masters of the Dark Arts (2012) and To Thine Own Self Be True (2016).
After years of studio inactivity, La Coka Nostra returns with a new song, We Going Back, which is a celebration of the hip-hop community and a return to the true values of the genre. The group has been standing on these principles for more than twenty years, during which it promotes hard, authentic rap without compromise and loyalty to its underground roots.
On this occasion, La Coka Nostra returns to the stage with a special anniversary tour, which is not just a nostalgic memory. Fans can look forward to iconic songs, rare B-sides, brand new hits and a lot of energy in the club environment.
They will perform live on March 9, 2026 in the Bratislava club Šafko in the line-up: Danny Boy, Ill Bill, Slaine, DJ Eclipse. Do not miss this unique opportunity to see for the first time in Slovakia a legendary and cult formation with an unadulterated eastcoast vibe - as part of the Danube Music Day concert series.
