La is a workshop of Latin American songs and rhythms led by Marta Töpfer. And the rich experience of Latin American music that Marta has collected during her long -term work in this community. Regular workshops will allow participants to get to know Latin American rhythms and styles deeper. LA The workshop will be mainly focused on the doctrine of songs and basic rhythmic accompaniment to hand percussion and clapping. We will learn songs in styles such as Cuban Son, Guajira, Bolero, Colombian Porro, Venezuelan Joropo, Vals, Chilean Ceeca or Argentine Chacarera and Zamba. We will also focus on the rhythms of Maracas (Rumba Ball), Clave, and clapping, which typically accompanies the singers.
The previous experience with singing is helpful, but is not a condition. We will learn mainly by hearing, so there is no need to know notings. Notes for songs will also be available.
