Set out with a guide Petra Bujokova on La Gamera, where she, as she says, she sewed a bit during Covid - and his air, wind, waves and deviousness were all shaking under her skin. Come and get to know the island (even taste) and maybe you will find out why its water Columbus christened America ...
La Gomera is the second smallest Canary island, famous for its Barrancos - gorges that stretch from the mountains to the ocean. During Petra's narration we walk some on foot, others will cram on bikes. We will come to the Tertiary forest of Laurisilva, the original fog forest full of eternally green trees, and we climb the trails between the roques massifs. Why do children learn the old sandblasting language on the island to this day? And what is the "shepherd's jump", whose training we will try ourselves?
