La LOM en Barcelona

As if they were a political party or a union, one day Zac Sokolow, Jake Faulkner and Nicholas Baker decided to carry out their activity under acronym that identified them. The LOM, or what is the same, The Los Angeles League of Musicians. And although the trajectory of this Californian trio (or very Californian rather) officially begins in the summer of 2022 with the launch of its first EP, actually the history of the LOM dates back spiritually six or seven decades ago. And is that his instrumental proposal, close to that of Brothers Gutiérrez, Pachyman or even Khruangbin, would have no reason to be without the entire songbook that built the mestizo musical identity of Los Angeles in the 50s and 60s. Listening to them is like tune in a radio station lost over time. Sokolow, Faulkner and Baker will bring their boleros, chichas and cumbias to room Apolo on November 12 as part of a tour of the Iberian Peninsula that will also take them to Santiago de Compostela (November 7, Capitol Sala), Porto (November 8, Hard Club 2), Lisbon (November 9, Lav 2), Madrid (November 11, But) and Valencia Moon).
