About event
🇬🇧Too often we travel around the world and only superficially know the place where we live. Prague is a city with a thousand-year history and with many hidden places that tell its story and are worth knowing. The Dante Alighieri Society, in collaboration with Tourists for Prague, inaugurates a series of themed meetings and guided tours that will lead us to discover places and events that have characterized Prague's history.
The first event, entitled "Prague Spring: the places and moments of a dream", will be divided into two parts:
• Thursday 28 May, 6.00 pm, at the headquarters of the Dante Society Alighieri, Letenské nám 1, meeting with Andreas Pieralli, Italian-Czech journalist and translator. Andreas will retrace the events which, in the second half of the 1960s, first led to the experience of the Prague Spring and subsequently to the dramatic invasion by the armies of the Warsaw Pact.
• Saturday 6 June (time and meeting point will be communicated to the participants separately) Luca Riccardi of Tourists for Prague, will take us to the places where the dramatic events of those days took place and where the protagonists of the Prague Spring.
Price for meeting + tour: 500Kč (400Kč for Dante members). If purchased individually: 300Kč each (250Kč Dante members)

🇨🇿Až příliš často cestujeme po světě a místo, kde žijeme, známe jen povrchně. Praha je město s tisíciletou historií a mnoha skrytými zákoutími, která vyprávějí o jejích osudech a která stojí za to poznat. Společnost Dante Alighieri ve spolupráci s Touristi per Prague zahajuje sérii tematických setkání a komentovaných prohlídek, které nás zavedou k objevování míst a událostí, které formovaly pražskou historii. • Čtvrtek 28. května, 18:00, v sídle Společnosti Dante Alighieri, Letenské nam. 1, setkání s Andreasem Pierallim, novinářem a italsko-českým překladatelem. Andreas připomene události, které ve druhé polovině šedesátých let minulého století vedly nejprve k Pražskému jaru a následně k dramatické invazi vojsk Varšavské smlouvy.
• V sobotu 6. června v 2pm hod. (mixed setkání budou účastníkům sděleny samostatně) nás Luca Riccardi z Tourists for Prague provides a bit of mistech, which is also dramatické události těch dnů to kde žili a působili protagonisté Pražského jara.
Price Setkání + Tour: 500Kč (400Kč členy Dante / Dante members). Jestli koupeno samostatn: 300Kč za každou akci (250Kč členy Dante)
