About event
DUES SESSIONS
For the first time in the history of our festival, the Artist's Portrait is not starring an individual figure, but rather a group. It is the turn, this 2025, of La Vella Dixieland, founded in 1980 and therefore this year celebrating 45 years of life. Inspired by Duke Ellington, who stated that an orchestra conductor is like a cook who mixes food in the correct proportions to enhance the final result of the dish, La Vella wants to celebrate these 45 years of history by inviting other musicians to configure a tour of four concerts that will be at the same time the history and present of jazz in Catalonia.
Third and final stage in the Jamboree, with the voice of Namina.
Pep Gol, trumpet
Pau Casares, tenor sax, clarinet
Benoît Poinsot, alto sax
Xavier Manau, trombone
Gerard Nieto, piano
Josemi Moraleda, double bass
Pinyu Martí, drums
Special guest
Namina, voice
