Radek played in the band on the saxophone, Vilém Spilka on the double bass and Martin Kleibl on the drums. Because they have been working together in other sets for a long time, they are closely connected to each other. Radek has fallen on the Czech jazz scene with success for two years, currently most alongside Matej Ben, Ondřej Ruml, plays in the Cotatcha Orchestra, his own Four in Blue formation and the mentioned Vilém Spilka Quartet. After eight years in the Brno Philharmonic, Martin Kleibl oscillates in a genre sector from classic to pop, plays in OK Percussion Duo with Marimbista
European class Martin Opršál, accompanies singer Petr Bende and is the engine of Vilém Spilka Quartet. For the purposes of the Sakobi project, Vilém Spilka replaced his main guitar tool for a double bass, which he began to focus on during the Covid Pandemy. The trio at the concert will also play the repertoire from the debut recording issued by the BIVAK Records. All members not only played but also composers were involved in the album. The way to the blue sun was due to the melancholic duma, the song on the way of Martin Kleibl is a typical uplifting Latin of jazz. Vilém Spilka added the rest of the repertoire, his individual opuses reveal various music and non -musical inspirations - from his native Brno to Japan, which also refers to the cryptogram in the name of the band. The debut album bears in the spirit of Japanese realities name Banzai! Stylishly, the album is more or less unclaimable, drawing on both traditions of jazz and other African -American styles and folklore music not only from Moravia. Sakobi is a unique project not only for its repertoire, the trio in the Saxophone line -up - the double bass - drums on the Czech scene is a relatively unique concept that provides space for intensive music communication and free expression of individual members. href = "https://www.ireport.cz/clanky/news/trio-sakobi-vydava-debutove-album-banzai-inspirrovane-jazzem-a-world -Music"> http with: //www.ireport.cz/clanky/news/trio-sakobi-vydava-debutove-album-banzai-inspirrovane-jazzem-a-world-music
