The struggle between good and evil culminates in dramatic moments full of passion and emotion, where the power of love eventually overcomes darkness. Ballet The Nutcracker, composed of Petr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, is one of the most popular Christmas performances in the world. It was first introduced on December 18, 1892 and is still one of the most commonly reported ballets. The story takes place on Christmas Eve in the house of the doctor Stahlbaum, where his daughter Mari receives a special gift from the godfather Drosselmeyer - a puppet of a soldier named Nutcracker. When he raises midnight, the room comes alive: the toys turn into a living being and appear mice led by the dreaded mouse king. Against them will be a brave Nutcracker with a small army of Christmas toys. Mari will not leave his hero and help him fight.
