About event

✨The school maze is back! ✨
Do you want to get lost in the corridors of our school?
Come on Wednesday 23 October between 14:00 and 16:30 in front of building B.

How will it go?
👉 you tell us your name
👉 you get a starting number
👉 you get a card with a station according to your category
👉 you start
👉 you go around all the stations
👉 you run to goals

The start will take place at intervals between 14:00 and 16:30. It doesn't matter what time you arrive, but we will send the last participant into the vortex of the labyrinth at 4:30 p.m. All competitors will be divided according to categories: men/women and Bc/Mgr/PhD+zam and will have their own card.

And what are the rules?
👉 Each category has its stations on the assigned card (some stations are shared).
👉 At each station there is a sign with the inscription "This is a station" and a clicker (within a radius of 1-2 m).
👉 Stations are ONLY in the corridor - not in classrooms and other rooms.
👉 The start and finish are in front of building B.
👉 DON'T FORGET YOUR IDENTIFICATION CARD (ISIC/EV.CARD) - the stations are in all three buildings and you need to leave the buildings.
👉 Ideally, try not to use your phone, but it might come in handy when you come across our quiz question.
👉 Time is measured separately for everyone! You can run in a group, but we will release you gradually (the first released will have a longer time than the last released from the group).

And what awaits you when you reach the finish line?
We have prepared valuable prizes for the first three women and three men from each category (Bc, Mgr and PhD + zam). The announcement will take place at 17:30 in front of building B.
Of course, not every competitor will be rewarded, so if you don't place, we at least have a participation prize for you!🍻

And points will be counted for the Šípkova cup ?
Yes! This event is also scored for the Šípkova Cup. Only freshmen will be scored, namely the first five boys and five girls from each faculty.

We look forward to seeing you!

UCT Labyrinth is back!
Fancy getting lost in our hallways?
Come on Wednesday 23.10. between 14:00 and 16:30 in front of the building B.

How will it go?
👉 you'll tell us your name
👉 we will give you a starting number
👉 you'll get a card with checkpoint according to your category
👉 START
👉 you'll run or walk to all the checkpoints
👉 go back to the start (also a finish line)

You can start anytime from 14:00 until 16:30 (that's when we send the last person in).
All competitors will be divided into categories: men/women and Bc, Mgr, and PhD+employees, each with their own card.

Rules
👉 Each category has its own set of checkpoints, but some are shared with all the categories.
👉 At each checkpoint there is a sign saying: 'This is a station', and a control push pin-like device (clicker).
👉 Checkpoints are ONLY in the hallways or outside – not in classrooms/labs.
👉 The start and finish are in front of building B.
👉 DON’T FORGET YOUR IDENTIFICATION CARD (ISIC/EV. CARD) – checkpoints are in all three buildings.
👉 Ideally try not to use your phone, only when instructed for our quiz question.
👉Each participant is timed on their own. You can form groups but only after you have started the race (the first one released will have a longer time than the last one released from the group).

Rewards?
Three fastest women and men from each category will receive a reward (e.g. UCT merch). The announcement of the winners will be held in front of building B at 17:30.

Of course, every participant will receive a reward, so if you don't place, we still have a participation prize for you!

Šípek's Faculty Championship?
This event is a part of our famous Šípek's Faculty championship, the points will be given out based on the fastest 1st year bachelors students (5 women and 5 men).

Best regards,
Your captains of the faculties
