LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE TOUR FOR THE NEW ALBUM
Without chaos there is no creativity and both are the driving force for new adventures, adventures that Lacrimas Profundere (Latin for shedding tears) have been able to experience far away from the dazzling LA dream cinemas, in 34 countries so far. In addition to slots at the biggest festivals in Europe such as Masters Of Rock, Wacken, Metal Gates, Baden in Blut, Greenfield, Pepsi Sziget, Summerbreeze, Mera Luna, Rock Harz, Rethymno Rocks and many more, the boys were able to earn their spurs on tours with bands such as Apocalyptica, Wednesday13, Paradise Lost, Lacuna Coil, The 69 Eyes, Within Temptation, or Amorphis.
The unconditional devotion to their own music, the passion to never give up despite numerous setbacks, and even to carry on with countless strange, sometimes crazy stories, have allowed the Munich melancholics to survive a number of musical trends since they were founded in 1993 and to grow into one of the most innovative and successful German dark metal bands of the moment.
"Album of the month" in 'Metal Hammer', 'Orkus' and the American 'Dead Rhetoric', top 10 placements in the other important magazines worldwide and every album of the last few years in the TOP 40 of the German album charts are just a few of the successes of the band's long history.
It is a luxury to take the freedom not to think, but to feel and that's the only way to get reviews like "a mixture of HIM and MetalCore”, or “Dimmu Borgir meets The Cure”. The group excitingly combines classic GothnRoll with elements of heavy metal, rock and doom, so that on one of the albums none other than RICKY WARWICK (The Almighty, Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders) appeared as a guest composer.
The band anthem “And God's Ocean” was not only covered by US Jackass star Bam Margera and Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz, but also served as the accompaniment to the ZDF Monday crime thriller “NIGHT SHIFT AND THE TOTE GIRL”.
So it's no wonder that there are now an impressive 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and can have 120,000 followers on Facebook.
Sold out headliner shows, full houses wherever they play and new fans after every festival show. Frontman Julian Larre, who lives in Finland, is also responsible for this. The exceptional singer looks like a young mixture of Ville Valo, Oli Sykes and Corey Taylor, who never limits himself “just” to the stage and always ensures an energetic, exciting show. The foundation for this is laid by Dominik on the drums, Oliver Nikolas on the guitar and Ilker (Ex Freedom Call) on the bass.
So don't miss out on one of the shows, feel the energy that the four unleash on stage and feel what beauty can reside in grueling melancholy. This is the tour for the new album.
