About event
Concert of the choir Vox De Profundis and the orchestra Temere musicantes. A performance of three (...or four?) large, vocal-instrumental works that combine the theme of praise, celebration and joy.
John Rutter's Gloria in the original brass version — a composition full of light and joy, which has won the hearts of listeners all over the world since its creation in 1974.
Te Deum by Antonín Dvořák - a hymn written to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of America, in which Dvořák squeezed a powerful dramatic arc into just twenty minutes.
Regina Coeli by Pietro Mascagni from the opera Cavalleria Rusticana — a short but explosive prayer to the Queen of Heaven, during which even secret guests will expand our ranks.
soloists: Tamara Morozová and Jiří Sulženko
The concert is organized as part of the series Music for the Soul of the Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague: https://pragjesu.cz/laetare/
