About event

The Light Muse Group was established in 1984 as a 4 -member group of musicians, which was musically inspired by a postpunk, new wave, industrial and minimalism. Given the "serious" musical expression, they did not even fall into the recessionist stream of Slovak unofficial music and paradoxically gained their feedback on the soil of the Czech underground. It was not until the first time in 1988 in Bratislava at the Festival Rock Koliloč and in the same year the first music recording, which was published in Prague's music publishing house Black Point in 1991 under the name "Schizophonia". After 1989, the band plays mainly in the Czech Republic and prepares their first studio album "innocence", which captures the group only as a two -man core - singer Gudrun and composer, guitarist and keyboard 677. It defined its further musical direction, namely the combination of electronic, guitar and industrial music with a specific female vocal into an original experiment, which was also addressed by the Bratislava publishing house Zoon Records, which publishes the group in 1992 iconic LP "shadow of pain". The album divided the then unprepared music criticism into new music into two camps - some of them were admired by the sound juiciness and arranging minimalism of the independent scene, which they only heard in foreign production and others evaluated it as an inexperienced raw affair. However, the band became one of the most famous modern club bands in the 1990s and played at all musically innovative festivals. From alternative, through Gothic and industrial. In 1995, the successful period was also limited by cooperation with the Czech publishing house Indies Records, which releases the album "Shaking Absolute", which, unlike the shadow of pain, receives high evaluations of most music reviewers. But this is already fading on the scene of the euphoria of the early 1990s, and this part of the music scene is gradually disappearing in irreversibly. The bands fall apart, clubs disappear. There are already divided states and subsequently shattering scenes. The band faces the band in front of the band, what to do next. They respond in 1998 by the album "Dream of Border Life", which is published by Sonicca. Subsequently, they gradually dampen their home concert activities, because artistically synchronized events are already minimal and prepare their accession to foreign concert stages. Symbolically in 2000, the Polish brand Black Flames is releasing the album "Light roads are flowing darkness" and will play at the Castle Party International Festival in Bolkow, Poland's first set outside the SR/Czech Republic and meet a strong response also because the previous 3 albums have a positive response in foreign music. The Polish publisher has taken care of extensive promotion on the German and European scene, with a number of promoters induced by a number of concerts after European stages. From the German festival Gothic Treffen to the English The Beyond The Veil, Lithuanian Menuo Juodaragis or Czech Brutal Assault, the band is experiencing a successful concert career that allows it to produce its original avantagrd music without music restrictions and whether the requirements of the audience that defines music union in the Czech or Slovak. Postpunku, Hardcore, Metal or Maistream Electronics of the Dance Scene. At this time (2004), on the Dangus Lithuanian brand, they release their album "in the flash of eternity" and in 2006 the debut album "Fetish Remix" of their electronic/performance alter ego Hieros Gamos, which will also include functioning on the electronic scene. Both bands resonate as one of the most interesting from Eastern Europe. Although the band concert works mainly outside Slovakia, they keep a bond with the Czechs, where they are constantly returning. However, this development will cause the band to be invisible in Slovakia, as the promoters of club promoters, or the new KC, which no longer have concert experiences with the band, are being changed. Things are slowly starting to change after 2010, when new people from Slovakia are starting to discover them again. Ore Pole agency occupied them after the selection of the Tour Manager YG in 2013 as Support before The Young Gods, in that year they will play at the second year of the Solitude Walls Festival and the new album "Be Your Mirror" is released. In 2014, the bass player Inova is repeatedly joined and the band plays Gudrun/677/Inova and works with two performers Leandra and Vivian. In 2016, the DVD “Performace” was released from the concert stages from 1993-2016. They will play at festivals -Gothic Prague Gotik Treffen, postapocalyptic Junktowne (Czech version Burning Man), Metal Assault Assault on the experimental stage K.A.L. Schettenwelt, Dark Alternative Bolkow Castle Party etc .. During Covid and even after its sound, the band managed to return to the home stage - they will play for Radio FM - Pohoda Live, Festival Walls Solitude, Music or Word, Tužina Groove underground artist Viktor Hait, or are the music guests of Bratislava photographer Matúš Zajac, the author of the photo-books Out and In, who visually deals with diverse subcultures. Other club concerts included. In 2024, the ninth album of the song Silence is released on the Hevhetia brand and at the same time this year will celebrate 40 years of the existence of the "40 & Silence of Tour" in Slovakia/Czech Republic and Germany. The new album has brought many overlaps to ethnic music and vocal inspirations by Slovak lawns and collects positive feedback from both reviewers and ordinary listeners.
