About event
Lakeside X is an alternative independent pop/rock band from Prague. Inspiration for their sound can be found both in the field of classic synth-pop (Depeche Mode), as well as modern electronic music (Royksopp) or even alternative guitar British rock (Placebo).
Their compositions combine melancholy and energy , synthesizers with guitars. All this, together with the fragile voice of frontman and composer Janne Marvannen, creates a unique and original character of their music. The lyrics are not simple and deal with reflections on loneliness, sadness, inner search, love, lust, the light and darkness of the inner universe.
During its history, the band has released four albums and established itself on the electronic scene. The band's fans can be found all over the world, from their home country of the Czech Republic, through Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Russia, the USA to countries like Argentina.
In 2022, they completed their fourth album with German producer Daniel Myer studio album called Love Disappears. The album contains ten electronic songs, including the singles Rising, Time Has Come and Fascination.
I would consider 2023 to be one of the more successful years for the band. For their concert in Prague, they were chosen as support band by the legend of world music, Depeche Mode, they performed at festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
In 2024, they were guests on the German tour of the band Empathy Test and presented and his music on stages in Berlin, Hamburg, Oberhausen, Dresden, Munich, Frankfurt and other cities.
They have prepared special visual effects for their Prague concert, a cross-section of their entire work, but also many surprises.
Their debut album SUNRISE will celebrate 20 years this year.

WOLFGRIEF - a Prague project that was born out of a pandemic and human disappointment.
It represents the key elements that have shaped the alternative scene
in the last two decades.
Klára, a singer who brings a unique and emotional touch
to every vocal track she produces and writes.
She is joined by Ian - guitarist and Ravn - DJ.
Ian and Ravn have impressive career in the music industry.
They were previously members of the bass/electro DJ duo
which formed in 2011 under the name Them Darned Teenagers
and have toured Europe and the US sharing stages with renowned artists such as are Skrillex, Getter, Virtual Riot, Eathan Kath and more.
