With the topic of "love", the GDR Museum presents the most beautiful minor matter in the GDR world
The long night of the museums in 2025 is devoted to love and illuminates how it was lived in the GDR. The focus is on the Defa youth film "Seven Frosses", which captivated more than 1.2 million visitors in 1978. It is the story of Karoline and Robert who experience their first love in the holiday camp. The Pill Ovosiston, which was first produced in the GDR 60 years ago, plays an important role. Three short tours invite you to a tour of the GDR Museum and show the facets of love in socialist society - from brother kiss to home love until the first time. In addition, the Eisbären Berlin are guests with an exhibition truck: two rounds of conversation are devoted to the fan love from the roots in the GDR to this day.
