Language & Art Lovers meet for the dance double bill "Warrior" & "Dreamer"

*For English version please scroll down*

**A powerful double evening about stereotypical ideas of femininity and womanhood:** Tempted by the belief that unrelenting strength is all we need to get things done and save the world, choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess takes us on the path to becoming a warrior in the solo "Warrior" she dances. In a soundscape of voices, a deeply poetic image of human conflict and longing for harmony is gradually revealed along her body.
In the second part, the dancer Adaya Berkovic crosses the thin line between the real and the imagined, the felt and the fantasized in "Dreamer": The dreamer - the sensual embodiment of awakened femininity as well as a transparent projection surface for the audience - lures the audience with her constantly changing appearance into a surreal space that gradually exposes patriarchal inscriptions in the female body.

Duration: "Warrior" (42min) / Intermission / "Dreamer" (48min)
Languages of exchange: German, English, Spanish, Portuguese

**[Online tickets](https://dock11-berlin.de/theater/service/tickets) for the performance (€ 15 normal / € 10 reduced / € 25 solo ticket plus advance booking fee) should be purchased in good time. The conversation afterwards is free of charge.**

In the second part, dancer Adaya Berkovic crosses the fine line between the real and the imagined, the felt and the fantasised in ‘Dreamer’: The dreamer – a sensual embodiment of awakened femininity and a transparent projection surface for the audience – lures the audience with her constantly changing appearance into a surreal space that gradually exposes patriarchal inscriptions on the female body.
