About event
💎 LAOKOON 💎
Duo Laokoon takes the name of a short animated film from 1970 in which evil takes over the mind of every creature. Their debut eponymous record was released in 2020, contains samples from that animated film and is interwoven with the abstract and raw sound of bedroom rap.
The album ŠPERK (2022) followed, where Laokoon decided to touch the levels of a more pop sound with more legible meanings in texts. The record was released on vinyl in a limited edition by Korobushka Records.
The third record titled DOPING was released in the fall of 2023 and deals with overindulgence and pressure. It features a large number of performers from the founder of the label TyNikdy (Idea) to Arleta to multi-genre chameleons Blue Uandi.
🌸 BOLS/SLOB 🌸
Matěj Dvořák aka BoLs/sLoB se after experimental hip-hop beginnings, he profiled himself as a promising personality of the contemporary electronic scene. The genre-wide producer and musician draws inspiration from British post-club music, PC Music or even industrial rap. BoLs/sLoB, who can alternate genres, rhythm and Czech with English in one track, already scored points in the Startér Radio Wave hit parade years ago.
Last year he released his long-awaited debut album Esoteric Garden. It will take listeners from glitch and trap vibes to intoxicating neo-romantic melodies to harsh sound design. The unpredictability and unclassifiable nature of his original recordings and energetic performance make him one of the most prominent names on the Czech electronic scene.
📀 SAUVIGNON SCHWARZ 📀
Sauvignon Schwarz is the co-founder of the schwarzwald collective. If he were an ice cream flavor, he'd be gargamel. Breezes of Latin America permeate the darkness with stitched beats. In combination with the frantic style of Sauvignon's DJing, a unique dark cocktail is created, which is a suitable soundtrack for the awake nights of all lost souls.
