About event
On Easter Sunday, the New Synagogue will welcome the Lash & Gray duo. This time for the first time with a band.
Lash & Gray are among the prominent Slovak musical projects of recent years. Their creative work and exceptional musical maturity have brought them to prestigious stages - from Carnegie Hall in New York to festivals in Mexico City and Paris to European jazz scenes such as Jazz Baltica or Nancy Jazz Pulsations. They completed three tours in Italy, their music was heard at Arte and they already gave concerts in 14 countries of the world.
In 2022, singer Kristína Mihaľová was the only European to make it to the TOP 5 of the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition in New Jersey. They have the Anděl Award for the album Blossom Of Your World and two Radio_Head Awards. They recently completed a tour with Dan Bárt and Illustratosphere.
In Žilina, they will perform for the first time with the band: Eugen Vizváry (keyboards), Richard Csino (bass guitar) and David Hodek (drums).
