About event
"Don't be afraid of happiness, it doesn't exist."
— Michel Houellebecq, Staying alive
What is left of the sound when you take away its certainty?
The empty.space concert is not about "new compositions", but about situations in which the sound breaks down, gets stuck or stops being comfortable. Five instruments and electronics do not function here as an ensemble, but as a system under pressure, on the verge of disintegration.
Program:
Petr Hora — Prototype: axis /2026, premiere
Tímea Urban — safeword /2023, Slovak premiere
Interpreted by the Trenčín-Prague ensemble laug.sonoris.
📅 5/23/2026 — 20:00
📍 Cinema Družba, Trenčín
🎟️ Tickets via GoOut
Just come and listen. Don't expect comfort.
The concert was supported from public funds by the Art Support Fund, Trencin 2026 – European Capital of Culture and the City of Trencin.
