About event
Can music express a non-musical agenda? When is it a sound painting and when is it a radical structural process? What else is music?
The laug.sonoris ensemble presents a program that reflects the impermanence, transformation and fine details of sound textures, noises, but also tones! In the Central European premiere, the extensive work of the German contemporary music phenomenon Enno Poppe will be heard, in which the sound is layered like fallen leaves - in constant motion, changeable, but at the same time precisely structured. The contrast to this will be a sonically detailed and introspective composition by Ondřej Štochl, who works with sensitive nuances of sound and a temporal perspective of perception.
🔹 Program:
Patrik Herman – Corrode /2025
Enno Poppe – Laub /2022–2024
Ondřej Štochl – Idée Fixe /2010
📅 When: October 26, 2025 - 3:00 p.m.
📍 Where: Refectory of the Piaristic Gymnasium, Trenčín
The noise:sound platform is supported from public sources by the Art Support Fund and the SOZA Social and Cultural Fund.
